Smear Mechanism Related Errors: SP-50
Error Code	000007: Smear unit U/D motor error 000008: Smear unit F/R motor error 000009: Spreader glass dry unit motor error
Symptom	Errors above visible on screen. Error not executable on screen. Up down motion of smear unit not operating correctly. Smear not completed. Noise coming from smear unit area.
Possible Causes	Spreader glass is not installed correctly. There is a foreign object in the range of movement of the smearing unit mechanism. Unit failure.
Refining Problem Area	Does the problem happen intermittently or constantly? Can you hear any unusual noises? Has there been any maintenance done to the machine recently that might affect the problem area?
Action	Remove foreign object problem area. Replace smearing glass. Contact Sonic Engineering representative or lodge ticket.
